New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman announced this week that he is appointing “public integrity officers” to Nassau and Suffolk County, most likely in response to an alarming number of government corruption and retaliation cases reported to the attorney general’s office recently. If you feel you’ve been the victim of police corruption or government corruption in Nassau County or Suffolk County, you now have a place to report it other than your local police station or DA’s office.
Focusing exclusively on rooting out abuse and fraud by public officials, it is the attorney general’s hope that these public integrity officers will give Long Island residents a place to report complaints of government corruption without fear of local political retribution. The officers will accept confidential complaints from local residents, facilitate investigations, and coordinate with the Attorney General’s centralized Public Integrity Bureau.

My comment,the entire county of Suffolk is one big organized crime group.Including the O.A. G. office on Motor Pkwy.How can it make any sense to place a corruption unit inside of a corrupted agency? This is not just banter, I have had a lot of experience with the agencies.
